  • Net benefit (year 1) = annual benefit - investment - implementation
  • ROI = net benefit / (investment + implementation) x 100
  • Payback (months) = (investment + implementation) / (annual benefit / 12)
  • Three-year value = (annual benefit x 3) - (investment x 3) - implementation
